Lady “D” is one of the pioneers who helped to elevate Caribbean music to the fore-front in the Central Florida market. Her historical journey spans a period of 24 years commencing July 1984 on Orlando radio station 1140 WONQ. Along the way she made successful stops at several other stations including 1270 WORL, 990 WHOO, 1190 WAMT, 1600 WOKB - to name a few. She was also responsible for creating and successfully producing the first ever “YOUNG PEOPLE'S FORUM” (4-16 year old age group) aired on 1600 AM, WOKB in 1994. |
